The Tories came and scorched the earth;
stole from the people and smiled
Punished us for existing at all;
and our point of view was reviled
The Tories sold the earth to their friends;
with paranoid weapons of hate
Told us to blame all the foreigners;
to keep them away from our gate
The Tories blame the sick and the poor;
how dare they be a drain on the purse?
But the sick and the poor and the old
Still pay for the Old Lady's hearse
Powerful proletarian poetry.Great stuff.
